Founder & Head Coach & Program Development
Sampson was drafted in 1999 by the Astros as a shortstop out of Texas Tech University. After struggling to hit in is first year of professional baseball, he decided to retire and take a coaching position at Collin College in Plano, Texas.
Sampson would frequently throw batting practice to his hitters and realized that after a couple of years away from playing, he may be able to pitch professionally. He ended up coming back and pitching five years in his career with the Astros, going 20-15 with a 4.42 ERA in 174 games.
Cody Ransom, is a former professional infielder that played 13 seasons in Major League Baseball and spent 18 seasons in professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, and New York Yankees. Cody also spent a year playing over seas in Japan.
Cody provides a vision and standard that he expects to be upheld. Cody is an Arizona native. He attended Chandler High School, South Mountain Community College, and Grand Canyon University. He was drafted twice in junior college before finally being drafted in the 9th round of the 1998 draft by the San Francisco Giants. Cody was a part of the 2002 NLCS champion giants and the opening day third baseman for the 2009 World Series Champion New York Yankees
Jason Botts is a former MLB Outfielder and current Mental Performance Strategist to Pro and Elite Amateur Athletes. After retiring from his 15yr professional career, Jason founded Peak State, which specializes in helping young athletes develop a PRO Mindset through personal and online training to avoid slumps, calm nerves and boost confidence to achieve their biggest goals and dreams.
Garrett Mock, a former professional pitcher that played 3 seasons in Major League Baseball and spent 10 seasons in professional baseball for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals and Boston Red Sox. Garrett also spent time playing overseas in Japan, and south of the border in Mexico and Venezuela. Garrett is a native of Houston, TX. He attended North Shore High School(Drafted 2001, 44th rd.) Grayson County Community College(Drafted 2002, 14th rd.) and The University of Houston(Drafted 2004, 3rd rd) . He was selected to 4 all star teams, set the franchise record for strikeouts in 2005 and won the AAA league championship with the Red Sox in 2012 where he lead the team in saves and appearances. Garrett has a unique perspective that was born in 2010 from overcoming a potentially career ending neck injury. Because of that he encourages not only the development of the body, but development of the mind and the will.
Dr. Gene Coleman
Gene Coleman's legendary MLB career spans over 30 years and includes coaching seven MLB Hall of Famers. He served as a MLB Strength Coach and Consultant for the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers, along with working for NASA.
